Matthew Sainsbury – Physiotherapist

MPhtySt, BEx&SportSc

Matthew Sainsbury studied at the University of Queensland and holds dual degrees; a Masters of Physiotherapy Studies, and a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science (Exercise Physiology) degree.

He has practical experience in a range of physiotherapy fields including musculoskeletal, sports injuries and on-field sports injury management, personal training, orthopaedics, and is qualified Pilates instructor in Mat and Reformer Pilates.

Matt loves treating sports injuries. As a keen cricketer and talented batsman himself (having previously represented NSW and currently playing grade cricket for The University of Queensland), he appreciates the need for managing and preventing injuries to allow a return to play as soon as possible.

His passion for achieving results for sportsmen extends to improving the quality of life for all his patients. He emphasises proactive health management and utilises the latest research and technology available in managing all injuries. His particular interest is back and knee conditions.

On top of all this…Matt’s a really nice guy!
